Verse from 2 Samuel

主耶和华啊！你是神；你的话是真实可信的。你向你仆人应许了这美好的福分。(撒母耳记下 7:28)

Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant. (2 Samuel 7:28)

God will never break His promise n covenant to us. 

Verse from 2 Kings

He stood before him and said, “Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. So please accept a gift from your servant.” (2 Kings 5:3, 15)

We are called to be people of influence—the Lord’s servants who point others to the One whose touch can change their lives.

Verse from 1 John

不是我们爱神，而是神爱我们，差遣他的儿子为我们的罪作了赎罪祭，这就是爱了。(约翰壹书 4:10)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (1 John 4:10)

What’s love? God is love, and He’s pouring out that love on you and me.

Verse from 1 Corinthians

Even in the worst of times, we have much to be thankful for. May we learn to thank God for His goodness to us!

We don’t need more to be thankful for, we just need to be more thankful.

Verse from Proverbs

敬畏耶和华是知识的开端， 但愚妄人藐视智慧和教训。 (箴言 1:7)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs1:7)

Verse from Luke

于是他对众人说：“你们要谨慎，远离一切贪心，因为人的生命并不在于家道丰富。” (路加福音 12:15)

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” (Luke 12:15)

Shopping can be fun. Certainly, there is nothing wrong with trying to find a real deal and to enjoy the things God has given to us. But when we become preoccupied with obtaining material goods, we lose focus.

Verse from Proverbs

敬畏耶和华就是恨恶邪恶；骄傲、狂妄、邪恶的行为、乖谬的口，我都恨恶。(箴言 8:13)

To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. (Proverbs 8:13)

Pride brings shame. Humility brings wisdom.

Verse from Philippians

Verse from Deuteronomy

“你要自己谨慎，免得忘记耶和华你的神，不守他的诫命、典章、律例，就是我今日吩咐你的；(申命记 8:11)

Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. (Deuteronomy 8:11)

The more we have and the more we feel as if we have all we need, the more prone we are to forget our need for God and even our desire for Him. Yet, ironically, everything we have comes ultimately from God, who “gives us richly all things to enjoy” (1 Tim. 6:17).

Love the Giver more than the gifts!

Verse from Mark

但你们中间却不要这样；谁想在你们中间为大的，就要作你们的仆役， 谁想在你们中间为首的，就要作大家的奴仆。 因为人子来，不是要受人服事，而是要服事人，并且要舍命，作许多人的赎价。” (马可福音 10:43-45)

Jesus taught His followers about another kind of life—one of serving others.

I admit, Lord, that my eyes do get focused on myself. But I really do want to live from a heart of love for You. Teach me to be a servant

and to look for my fulfillment in You.

耶和华我的盘石、我的救赎主啊！ 愿我口中的言语、心里的意念， 都在你面前蒙悦纳。 (诗篇 19:14)

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)

People in our workplaces, churches, neighborhoods, and families can also be targets of sharp tongues and feel the pain of discussions such as gossip that never should have happened. How can we escape our inclination to use words to hurt others? When we seek to please God with our conversations about others, we honor Him.

Verse from Matthew

天地都要过去，但我的话决不会废去。 (马太福音 24:35)

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. (Matthew 24:35)

Verse from Hebrews

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. (Hebrews 3:12)

 We are to exhort one another to resist the hardening of our hearts that comes with sin.

Verse from Luke

Do to others as you would have them do to you. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. (Luke 6:31, 36)

Verse from Isaiah

Jesus is the One who was “wounded for our transgressions” and who died for us on the cross.

God loves us not because of who we are, but because of who He is-God is love. 

Verse from Isaiah

唉！口渴的人哪！你们都就近水来吧。没有银钱的，你们也要来，买了就吃。你们要来，买酒和奶，不用银子，也不用付代价。(以赛亚书 55:1)

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. (Isaiah 55:1)

God’s message of welcome, which we are to show to others, is clear.

No one will know what you mean when you say, “God is love”—unless you show it.

Verse from John

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. (John 7:37)

Living like we really need Jesus—talking to Him and depending on His wisdom—is vital to our spiritual well-being. So, stay connected to Jesus, for He alone can satisfy your thirsty soul!

Verse from James

但神所赐的恩更大；所以圣经上说：“神抵挡骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。”(雅各书 4:6)

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."(James 4:6)

Our achievements, success, or greatness are not rooted in ourselves. They are the product of God’s matchless grace, upon which we are eternally dependent.

Verse from 2 Corinthians

因我们行事为人是凭着信心，不是凭着眼见。 (哥林多后书 5:7)

For we live by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

We can't see God but we know that He is always there for us.

Verse from 2 Corinthians

For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. (2 Corinthians 4:5)

Verse from 1 John
