Verse from Romans

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38, 39)

Verse from 3 John

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. (3 John 1:11)

Verse from 1 Colossians

But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— (Colossians 1:22)

May His transforming work on our behalf stimulate us to live up to the presentation and to be humbly grateful to Christ for His finishing work in our lives!

Jesus takes us as we are and makes us what we should be.

Verse from Jeremiah

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

We may face some limiting circumstance today. Whether it is the result of our failure, or through no fault of our own, we can seek His strength to go through it, as He use it to change us for our own good, for the better and grow in our knowledge of Him as He never wants to harm us and always plans to give us hope and a future.

Verse from Job

Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was. (Job 2:13)

God may not intervene to change circumstances and He may not explain suffering, but He comforts us through the presence of other believers.

Verse from Luke

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. (Luke 2:10)

Fear must not master our hearts when we know that God has broken through every barrier to reach us with his overwhelming grace.

Verse from Matthew

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). (Matthew 1:23)

Let's celebrate Christmas w the joy of knowing God is with us!

Verse from 1 Chronicles

Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, (1 Chronicles 16:12)

The birth of Christ is the answer to our most fervent prayers for love and forgiveness. Can you feel the wonder?

Verse from Proverbs

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

In good times and bad, God is our safe resting place.

Verse from John

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Verse from Psalm

for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. (Psalm 107:9)

only God can satisfy us.

Verse from Philippians

for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. (Philippians 4:16)

When we encourage our friends who have left their familiar environments to serve God elsewhere, we show our love for the One who sent them.

Verse from Matthew

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. (Matthew 16:25)

Dear God, please give me the strength to go against the flow of this world.
Help me to resist what is wrong in Your eyes and to act in ways that please You, for the glory of Your name.

Verse from Luke

Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem. (Luke 2:38)

We may experience disappointments or heartache during the Christmas season, but Jesus and His salvation always give us reason to celebrate.

Verse from Luke

Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” (Luke 2:34, 35)

Simeon knew that though on the surface little had changed—Herod still ruled, Roman troops still occupied Israel—underneath, everything had changed. God’s promised redemption had arrived.

The cradle without the cross misses the true meaning of Christ’s birth.

Verse from Jeremiah

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. (Jeremiah 31:3)

Praise God for His everlasting love for us

Verse from Romans

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. (Romans 13:13, 14)

Verse from Isaiah

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)

There can be times when one’s mind is in doubt,
Times when one asks what the faith is about;
But we can believe Him, we know that He cares—
Our God is real, as the Bible declares. —Fitzhugh

Verse from 2 Corinthians

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)

No gift is greater than the gift of Christ Himself.

Verse from James

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4)

As we face different situations, we should remember that God is sovereign over both the blessings and the troubles that come our way.

Verse from Isaiah

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

In a world full of fear, we need to remember that Jesus came to be the Prince of Peace.

Verse from Matthew

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

Imagine if Christians worked as hard at shining and synchronizing the light of God’s love as the families of that neighborhood work when they illuminate their street with Christmas lights. Perhaps then the people still living in darkness would make an effort to see this great Light. When Christians work together to display God’s love, the gospel will shine more brightly and attract more people to Jesus—the Light of the world.

Our witness for Christ is a light in a dark world.

Verse from Psalm

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. (Psalm 103:8)

Verse from Philippians

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. (Philippians 4:11)

Help us, Lord, to learn contentment when life is rough.
Protect us from believing the lie that
having more will bring us happiness. May we be content with what You have given.

Verse from Matthew

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. (Matthew 13:44)

Have u found the biggest treasure that ever can be found? If so, share e discovery!

Verse from 1 John

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1)

All we need to know in life is this: Jesus loves me, this I know, for the bible tells me so.

Verse from Proverbs

The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. (Proverbs 11:3)

Verse from Psalm

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. (Psalm 37:23, 24)

When I think I'm going to plunge into the depths of the abyss, the Father's love, care, concern, Scriptures, servants, and helpers have kept me from destruction. He is there in times of trial. He has been mighty to save. I do believe that he delights in my journey. How about you?

Verse from Psalm

but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. (Psalm 66:19)

Our prayers become the avenue to a deeper relationship with Him. At all times, even in our hours of deepest need, He attends to our words.

We always have God’s attention.
