Verse from Psalm

In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 56:4)

When all is said and done, there really isn't a whole lot we can trust. Most of us have been hurt at one time or another by a friend who has betrayed our trust. The world economy is volatile and things can turn sour in just a few days. The weather shifts and changes by the hour. But in our world of change, in our heartbreak and disappointment, there is one constant. We can trust God. We don't have to fear change. He is our anchor that holds in the strongest storms. He is our strength in our worst battles. His word and his promises speak of good things for us. We don't have to be afraid, we can trust in him.

Verse from Philippians

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

There are times when we are weary, and we find that we just can't do it. But fear not, He didn't say we have to do things on our own, rather He wants us to rely on His strength for everything!

Verses from Jeremiah

Thus says the LORD, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:5, 7)

Who do you trust in? What's your choice?

Verse from Acts

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. (Acts 4:31)

Prayer changes us. Prayer calls on God to change circumstances. Prayer is powerful. Prayer brings revival. Prayer transforms God's people and brings about salvation. Prayer is our way of communication to God.

So why are many of us turning to prayer at the last resort? Why are many of us having such a hard time in finding time to pray to God? Why are many of us hesitant to pray when we are in a group setting (2 or 3 people and above) and try to avoid it by getting others to pray instead of we do the prayer?

Verse from Matthew

The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'(Matthew 25:40)

To help someone who needs it is direct service to our Lord. Because we are helping the people He loves.

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. (1 John 4:21)

Verse from Genesis

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)

God’s design for marriage is beautiful. So the prayer is for married couples to sense how awesome it is to enjoy life together under the blessing of God’s loving guidance.

Marriage is teamwork, about commitment, unless you are ready to commit and not break hearts, to settle down and not date or go into a r/s for the sake of having a partner, then it's better to remain single.

Marriage thrives in a climate of love, honor, and respect.

Verse from Romans

Sin must not be your master; for you do not live under law but under God's grace. (Romans 6:14)

Sin noisily threatens to dominate our hearts and minds, and the joy drains from our relationship with the Savior.

But through the death and resurrection of Christ, that threat is an empty one. Sin has no authority over us.

While our brokenness is very real, Christ’s grace enables us to live in a way that pleases God and expresses His transforming power to the world. Sin is no longer our boss. We now live in the grace and presence of Jesus. His dominion in our lives releases us from the bondage of sin.

God pursues us in our restlessness, receives us in our sinfulness, holds us in our brokenness. —Scotty Smith
