Verse from 3 John

亲爱的，不要效法恶，应该效法善。行善的属于神，作恶的没有见过　神。(约翰叁书 1:11)

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. (3 John 1:11)

Verse from 1 Colossians

但现今神在爱子的肉身上，借着他的死，使你们与神和好了，为了要把你们这些圣洁、无瑕疵、无可指摘的人，呈献在他面前。(歌罗西书 1:22)

But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— (Colossians 1:22)

May His transforming work on our behalf stimulate us to live up to the presentation and to be humbly grateful to Christ for His finishing work in our lives!

Jesus takes us as we are and makes us what we should be.

Verse from Jeremiah

因我自己知道我为你们所定的计划，是使你们得平安，而不是遭受灾祸的计划；要赐给你们美好的前程和盼望。’这是耶和华的宣告。 (耶利米书 29:11)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

We may face some limiting circumstance today. Whether it is the result of our failure, or through no fault of our own, we can seek His strength to go through it, as He use it to change us for our own good, for the better and grow in our knowledge of Him as He never wants to harm us and always plans to give us hope and a future. 

Verse from Job

他们就七天七夜与他一起坐在地上，没有人向他说一句话，因为他们看出他极其痛苦。 (约伯记 2:13)

Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was. (Job 2:13)

God may not intervene to change circumstances and He may not explain suffering, but He comforts us through the presence of other believers. 

Verse from Luke

天使说：“不要怕！看哪！我报给你们大喜的信息，是关于万民的：(路加福音 2:10)

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. (Luke 2:10)

Fear must not master our hearts when we know that God has broken through every barrier to reach us with his overwhelming grace.
