你们应该作行道的人，不要单作听道的人，自己欺骗自己；因为人若只作听道的人，不作行道的人，他就像一个人对着镜子看自己本来的面貌，看过走开以后，马上就忘记自己的样子。(雅各书 1:22-24)

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. (James 1:22-24)

The Bible is a mirror that lets us see ourselves as God sees us.
