Verses from 1 Peter

那召你们的既是圣洁的，你们在一切所行的事上也要圣洁。因为圣经上记着说：“你们要圣洁，因为我是圣洁的。”(彼得前书 1:15-16)

but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." (1 Peter 1:15-16)

The destined end of man is not happiness nor health but HOLINESS. Many seek God to be blessed in their lives but, God is not an eternal blessing machine for men. He did not come to save men out of pity. 

He came to save men because He created them to be HOLY.
